An electromagnetic flow meter with a telemetry system combines the measurement capabilities of an electromagnetic flow meter with telemetry, allowing for remote monitoring and data transmission.
Electromagnetic Flow Meter:
An electromagnetic flow meter measures the flow rate of conductive fluids, such as water, chemicals, or slurries, by applying Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. It consists of a pipe with a magnetic field and electrodes. When the conductive fluid flows through the pipe, a voltage is induced across the electrodes, which is proportional to the flow rate. This principle allows for highly accurate flow measurements, especially for fluids with varying conductivity.
Telemetry System:
Telemetry refers to the technology that allows remote measurement and transmission of data. In the context of an electromagnetic flow meter, a telemetry system enables the flow meter to send measurement data or other relevant information to a remote location, typically a central control system or monitoring station.
